BiographyThis musician from Extremadura, in fact was born in Madrid, in 1977. Later he moves to Extremadura, where he started to study music in the Professional Conservatory of Music in Cáceres; where he studies piano and organ. When he finishes in Cáceres, he moves to Salamanca, where he continues studing organ with Mr. Luis Dalda Gerona, and Choir Conducting with Mrs. Blanca Anabitarte Urrutia. He has continuously worked as organist at the Co-Cathedral of St. Mary in Cáceres since 1995 until today, job he combines with his activity as composer and teacher at the Municipal Music School in Cáceres and the Conservatory of the city of Don Benito. He has acted as concert organist at important places in Extremadura and Spain, above all, in his own place at the organ in the Co-Cathedral of St. Mary; and the Great Walker Organ in the Real Monastery of St. Mary in Guadalupe. As a composer, He is the author of some pieces like a concert for oboe and strings, a poem for strings and three soloists, a choral suite in six movements, the soundtrack of the movie "Columbario", the music for the incomplete phantasy movie "Pentalagón", a Great Mass for choir, soloists, organ and orchestra; and some pieces and songs for choir. |
